Balada Otak Kiri dan Otak Kanan Menggapai Mitos “Pamrih Dalam Bersedekah”

Beramal (bersedekah) koq pamrih(berharap). Boleh ga sih?

Kira-kira beginilah keberatan orang-orang perihal pamrih dalam beramal:

- “Nggak boleh pamrih dalam beramal!”

- “Nggak boleh berharap!”

- “Nggak boleh meminta!”

- “Itu namanya tidak ikhlas”

Ow, tunggu dulu. Apa iya benar seperti itu??

Sebenarnya, inilah mitos dalam beramal. Bahkan mitos terbesar abad ini. Karena setidaknya ada beberapa alasan untuk pamrih, berharap, dan meminta dalam beramal.

Nah, hal inilah yang membuat otak kiri dan otak kanan kadang-kadang suka berdebat.

Daripada berdebat terus ga selesai-selesai, akhirnya Otak Kanan mengundang Epistemologi, Aksiologi, dan Ontologi.

klo begitu, mari kita simak diskusi mereka yang mengkaji hal ini secara filsafat. Hehe….

(sepertinya sih sudah secara filsafat, kan masih belajar)

Otak Kiri:

Hei otak kanan, kenapa kamu memanggil epistemologi, aksiologi, dan ontologi kesini? Apa hubungan mereka dengan mitos yang sedang kita bahas?

Otak Kanan:

Lho, kemaren kan kita sudah belajar filsafat di perkuliahannya Pak Marsigit, Beliau mengatakan bahwa “Ontologi mempelajari hakekat atau makna segala sesuatu. Epistemologi adalah metodenya. Sedangkan Aksiologi adalah normanya. Tiadalah metode berpikir tanpa obyek berpikir. Metode berpikir adalah epistemologi, obyek berpikir adalah ontologi, maka tiadalah dapat dipisahkan antara epistemologi dan ontologi”

Jadi, daripada nanti kita terjebak oleh mitos ini, mending kita tanya aja ke mereka.

Otak Kiri:

Oke, halo Ontologi. Apa bisa kamu jelaskan perihal ikhlas dalam beramal/sedekah?

Ontologi:

Ow, tentu saja. Tapi kembali lagi, semua itu tergantung dari apa yang kau pikirkan dan yang kau yakini. Ikhlas ya ikhlas itu sendiri, seberapa jauh kau bisa memahami dan merasakan perihal ikhlas.

Otak Kiri:

Lantas, bagaimana dengan riya(pamer)?

Epistemologi:

Bersedekah dan Riya, itu sih sudah bisaa. Walaupun itu jelas-jelas tidak baik. Tapi semua tergantung niatnya, pelihara niat. Terkadang orang terlalu sibuk dengan pikirannya sendiri, mau bersedekah banyak mikir, dan terkadang sering terlintas dalam pikirannya yang mengatakan “ah,tempatnya rame, klo sedekah disini banyak yang lihat nanti dikira pamer, sedekah ga y? ah, daripada ga ikhlas, ga usah aja deh”, klo begitu terus kapan sedekahnya? Hehehe

Aksiologi:

Betul sekali, yang penting adalah niat dan bagaimana caramu bersedekah. Terang-terangan atau diam-diam, bareng-bareng atau sendiri-sendiri, tetap saja bersedekah. Pelihara niat. Kalaupun ada terlintas perasaan macam-macam, yah sudah. Istighfar saja.

Otak Kanan:

Ow, jadi boleh sedekah diam-diam. Boleh juga sedekah terang-terangan. Yang tidak boleh itu, terang-terangan tidak bersedekah y? hehehe…

Kalu begitu aku mau sering-sering bersedekah biar cepat kaya!

Otak Kiri:

Hush, klo sedekah ga boleh berharap! Betul kan epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi?

Epistemologi, Ontologi, dan Aksiologi:

Kami tidak mengatakan itu betul sepenuhnya ataupun salah total, semua itu tergantung niatmu. Daripada jadi bingung, lebih baik simak betul-betul niy penjelasannya.

Pada saat kamu bersedekah dengan berharap, dengan meminta. Nah, ketahuilah kali ini kamu akan memperoleh tiga keutamaan sekaligus. Apa saja?

- pertama, keutamaan bersedekah

- kedua, keutamaan berharap. Karena berharap itu sama dengan meminta. Meminta itu sama dengan beribadah. Beribadah itu berpahala.

- Ketiga, keutamaan iman. Ketika Allah menjanjikan sesuatu apakah itu kemudahan di dunia maupun kemudahan di akhirat, kemudian kamu berharap ditepatinya janji tersebut, itu bukan saja boleh, tapi harus! Karena itulah iman! Kamu yakin kepada Allah! Kamu yakin akan janji-janji Allah! Dalam kalimat lain, Ust. Yusuf Mansur juga mengatakan demikian.

Otak Kanan:

Waaah, betapa menyenangkan dan menenangkan kalau kita berharap dalam beramal. Bukan sekedar beramal.

Otak Kiri:

Koq gitu sih?

Otak Kanan:

Ya gitu, lha bukannya kamu juga sudah tahu kan, Allah pernah berfirman, “Wahai anak Adam, bersungguh-sungguhlah engkau beribadah kepada-Ku. Niscaya Aku akan memenuhi dada engkau dengan kecukupan dan aku akan menanggung kefakiran engkau. Bilamana engkau tidak melakukannya, maka Aku akan memenuhi dada engkau dengan kesibukan dan Aku tidak akan menanggung kefakiran engkau.”

Itu artinya, dengan ibadah yang sungguh-sungguh, kita boleh berharap dicukupkan dan dijauhkan dari kefakiran. Jadi, sah-sah aja donk klo ak minta kaya, iya g?

Otak Kiri:

Masa cuma dengan sedekah dan berharap bisa kaya?

Otak Kanan:

Wah, kau ini. Ya ga cuma itulah. Kita juga harus doa, ibadah, dan ikhtiar. Hee.. mana ada makan siang gratis, mana ada orang cuma tidur sambil berharap jadi kaya, kecuali klo punya jinnya Aladin, hehehe…

Otak Kiri:

Lha ngomong-ngomong, kenapa sih kamu pingin kaya?

Otak Kanan:

Pingin aja, emang ga boleh? Hehee.. klo kaya kan enak, bisa haji, bisa sedekah, bisa bangun masjid, bisa bantu tetangga, dll. Kan tadi epistemologi dah bilang, yang penting niatnya. Dan sebenarnya kaya itu hanya sekedar alat, alat untuk ibadah, ya toh?

Lagipula, berapapun besarnya dan apapun yang kita minta, Allah akan tetap Maha Kaya. Betul?

Otak Kiri:

Wah, jangan sok tahu kamu..

Otak Kanan:

Ehm, bukannya sok tahu, tapi ini beneran. Untuk lebih lengkap dan jelasnya coba deh, kamu baca aja bukunya Ippho Santosa “Percepatan Rezeki”. Bagus banget . . . !!

Otak Kiri:

Ow, gitu ya..ntar deh tak liat dulu, tak pikir-pikir dulu kira-kira bagus apa ngga? Cocok apa ngga buat aku??.

Otak Kanan:

Hehee, oke deh. Tapi daripada kelamaan mikirnya mending langsung take action aja, yuk kita baca buku itu dan perbanyak sedekah!

Otak Kiri:

Mau sih, tapi kayaknya uangku belum cukup, mau buat keperluan, ntar daripada ga ikhlas.. hee..

Otak Kanan:

Wah,kamu ini y… sedekah ga harus nunggu kita kaya dulu, ga harus langsung bisa ikhlas juga, mungkin awalnya terpaksa, selanjutnya biss, dan akhirnya kamu jadi terbisaa. Klo ga dimulai dari sekarang, kapan lagi?

Ontologi:

Yah begitulah, silahkan menjadi bahan renungan masing-masing.

It is a that I Must Have a competence in English for Mathematics

Nowadays, we live at the global area. Of course, we have the presence to global competition. To face it, everyone should have the ability to be able to face the global competition. One of the capabilities that are eligible to have the ability to speak English well. That's all because of global use more English in his daily activities, for example, is in the agreements between the State, both in terms of political, economic, social, and cultural, the people involved in it to communicate and reach mutual agreement with the use the English language. English is the international language. According to the survey, 97.83% of the country in the world require to learn the English language from primary level to university level.

For example, I as a student in one of the universities in India also learn the English language even though the course I take is mathematics education. In fact learning the English language is very useful for me. Many lecturers provide lecture material it uses the English language, I certainly assisted by the very subjects of the English language in my course. Even start this year, I open the program of the English language class or world class university where some of the materials submitted by faculty who use the English language support. So, if I do not understand at all about the English language I can not follow the lecture well. That is why the ability to speak English is also required even though the mathematics.

There are many more benefits can I get to learn the English language with the program of study that I'll take this. I have also become easier to study the literature that suggested by my lecturers. This can also support the study so that I become more motivated and easy to understand.

For its future, the English language ability can also be useful if I want to take a scholarship to study abroad. To get the scholarship that is difficult, there are many roads that should be adopted. Among them is the high score of TOEFL test should be more than average. Interview test as a requirement that also use the English language. If the English language well, then get the scholarship opportunities that will open wide in front of the eye.

Once completed in the lecture, even English language skills will still be very useful. Among them is to find a decent job. It is the tradition in personnel selection or entry of new employees in an agency with the ability to use the English language each other. Moreover, in accordance with the I of the profession tomorrow. What I have Done and What I will Do for English of Mathematics

English is universal language in the world. English language have an important role in mathematics as a medium that can convey a message that can contain the materials, problems, and answers. English is the language that is important in science communication are applied in the world. That is why, the English language is also applied in teaching mathematics at both the basic institutions, and university level.

I as a student who is also using the English language in the mathematics feel that this indeed is very important. View of the various things that have to do against the English language in the mathematics of them as I use the English language to make a presentation at one of the subjects that I get in class, I feel that English is very useful. With the English language, all students understand each other and there is no ambiguous in its every sentence. In addition, learn the English language in mathematics is also easier for me personally to understand the material, and the matter of the exam at one of the subjects that I get. I also make the conversation with some of my math teachers use the English language. In addition to have a better sense of when to use it, I also take advantage of this to train my use of the English language to make it more smoothly.

Use of the English language in mathematics is not only useful for the course at this time. Many things can I do to the English language in the math later. Like, I will use the English language to prepare the abstract in the essay that I will submit to me as a graduation requirement graduates later. Ability word with the English language tested here. If it happens a little meaning ganda or even not meaningful, I propose that skripksi certainly will not be accepted. Later, I will also use the English language ability in mathematics is to make it as added value in finding a job later. Of course, the selection test or interview will be more aligned themselves on a more individual take the English language. So, I have an english course nowadays.
Thus, while I still in the early lectures will continue to improve my English even though my department's mathematics, I have to understand English well.
I will share about my experience in participating English lesson class and my knowledge with the other people. I really hope, I can listen, write, understand, and speak english better in the future.

I Have Learn How to Teach Mathematics in English

Thus, the fact that 100 = 102 says that 2 is the logarith of 100 to the base 10. It is written as 2=10log100 0r 10log100=2. But, it can be read : logarithm of 100 to the base 10 equals 2.

Characteristic of logarithm

a to the power of m times a to the power of n equals a to the power of m plus n in bracket.

a to the power of m over by a to the power of n equals a to the power of m minus n in bracket.

Logarithm of b to the base a equals n equivalent with b equals a to the power of n.

Logarithm of a to the base g equals x. So, a equals g to the power of x.

Logarithm of b to the base g equals y. So, b equals g to the power of y.

Logarithm of a to the power of n to the base g equals n times logarithm of a to the base g.

We will find the solving of logarithm of a times b in bracket to the base g. [glog(axb=..?]

Let, Logarithm of a to the base g equals x. So, a equals g to the power of x.

Logarithm of b to the base g equals y. So, b equals g to the power of y.

From two character of logarithm above, is got that a times b equals g to the power of x times g to the power of y.

g to the power of x times g to the power of y equivalent g to he power of x plus y in bracket.

So, a times b equals g to he power of x plus y in bracket.

We can conclude that logarithm of a times b in bracket to the base g equals logarithm of a to the base g plus logarithm of b to the base g.

In this section, we will prove that square root of two is irrational number.

Let, square root of two is irrational number, it means that square root of two equals a over b, where a and b as prim number.

square root of two equals a over b. So, a equals square root of two times b or a square equals two times b square.

From this solving, we get that b square is even number and b is also even number. But, this is impossible because the prim number is relative. So, the assumption that square root of two have rational characteristic is impossible and must be delayed.

How was the value of phi is invented

The ancient Egyptian had invented the phi value is 3,16 (three point one six). They found it by assumpt that the circle area equals eight ninth times diametre (d) in bracket square.

We know that d equals two times radius. So, we can get the circle area equals eight ninth times two times radius (r) in bracket square. It is equivalent sixty four over by eighty one times four times r square. It is equals two hundred and fifty sixty over eighty one times r square.

So, the circle area is three point one six times r square. we know that the circle area is phi times radius square. we can find that the value of phi is three point one six.

Mathematics is Problem Solving

Have you ever asked your self, why do you learn mathematics?
of course, there are many reasons and opinions about it.
Everybody have different point of view, reason, and opinion.
So, let's we know the absolute truth about mathematics before.
The word "mathematics" comes from the Greek (máthēma), which means learning, study, science, and additionally came to have the narrower and more technical meaning "mathematical study", even in Classical times.
Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, change, and related topics of pattern and form. Mathematicians seek out patterns whether found in numbers, space, natural science, computers, imaginary abstractions, or elsewhere.

Based on Dr.Marsigit's explanation about the nature of mathematics, I got some information such as
: Mathematics is pattern, mathematics is communication,and mathematics is problem solving.

In here, I'll try to describe the third point.It is "Mathematics is problem solving"
Why we recognized that mathematics is problem solving. What is the meaning of problem solving,what the relation about mathematics and problem solving, and what the meaning of "mathematics is problem solving" itself?
I won't to explain all of them. But, I just want to share my opinion.
To understand this statement, I give you some examples,


-The Königsberg Bridge problem could be solved by graph theory. Networks have many uses in the practical side of graph theory, network analysis (for example, to model and analyze traffic networks). Within network analysis, the definition of the term "network" varies, and may often refer to a simple graph. Such as, to make the rule of Trans at Yogyakarta or Jakarta. It used graph theory.
-The house numbering used an Arithmetics, to make house or clothes design ,we use mathematics. All programs of computer use mathematics theory, and many other. We use mathematics application in our daily activities.
Sometimes, we do the math exercise, especially about the story form question. We must change this question into math sentence, so that we can do it easier.
The examples can show that mathematics can solve the problems. By learning mathematics, we training to solve the problem, training for creative logic thinking, and build up systematic and efficient math methods.
So, I conclude that mathematics is problem solving.
